Carnatic Vocal

At GAPA, we offer comprehensive training in the rich tradition of Carnatic Vocal. Our experienced and accomplished faculty guide students through a holistic journey, emphasising the nuances of melody, rhythm, and expression. Through rigorous vocal exercises, intricate compositions, and a deep understanding of ragams, and talams, students develop a strong foundation in Carnatic music.

Carnatic Violin

The Carnatic Violin holds a special place in South Indian classical music, adding a melodic and emotive element to performances. Coming from various rich lineages such as the Dwaram and Parur Banis, our teaching style lays focus on technique, intonation, and special exercises. Through systematic training, students develop a strong foundation in violin playing, learning to express intricate melodies.

Mridangam

The Mridangam, a traditional South Indian percussion instrument, holds a vital role in accompanying vocal and instrumental performances.We offer training playing Mridangam as well as Konnakol, Kanjira, Ghatam and Morsing.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
